September’s Digital Splash Awards competition saw some incredible entries! As with previous years, Macro is a popular genre of photography; we had hundreds of entries to narrow down but could only choose one winner. Macro Winner: Angi Wallace

A huge congratulations to Angi who has won £100 to spend at Wilkinson Cameras and will go through to the final for a chance to win another £500 in Wilkinson Cameras vouchers. We loved the detail and colours in Angi’s image. The water droplets combined with the royal tones, emphasise the subjects delicate nature. Plus, the great use of depth of field makes the flower stand out, as if you can almost touch it. Well done, Angi!
