Thank you to everyone who entered the Landscape photography competition in March. Below you will find a gallery with everyone who made it to the shortlist. Congratulations to everyone who made it from the hundreds of fantastic entries.

Landscape Winner: James Rushforth

An even bigger congratulations goes to James Rushforth, who has been chosen as this theme’s winner. James has won £100 to spend at Wilkinson Cameras and will go through to the final for a chance to win another £500 in Wilkinson Cameras vouchers. The judges loved the combination of the unusual landscape and the composition of this image. It’s something a bit different and the positions of the people within the image give a sense of scale.

Digital Splash Awards 2018 Landscape winner
Not your regular crevasse by James Rushforth. “Exploring one of the many temporary ice caves created as the vast expanse of the Vatnajökull ice cap recedes. These subglacial meltwater channels create spectacular exits as they leave the glacier. The upper hole seen here is known as a relict portal, created by a previous higher meltwater channel.”
