Thank you to everyone who entered the Night Sky & Astrophotography photography competition in November. Below you will find a gallery with everyone who made it to the shortlist. It’s the first time we’ve had this theme, which is technically very difficult to do well, so we were blown away by how many amazing pictures we had to choose from. We’re sure you’ll be impressed by the shortlist too!
 

Night Sky & Astrophotography Winner: Karl McCarthy

Congratulations to Karl, who has been chosen as this theme’s winner. They’ve won £100 to spend at Wilkinson Cameras and will go through to the final for a chance to win another £500 in Wilkinson Cameras vouchers. This is both a beautiful landscape photo and an excellent astrophotography image depicting the Milky Way over Three Cliffs Bay, Swansea. The milky sea, the moon’s reflection and little crack of light between the cliffs really add to an already very eye catching picture. There’s more to the picture every time you look at it.
