Thank you to everyone who entered the Sport photography competition in June. Below you will find a gallery with everyone who made it to the shortlist. Congratulations to everyone who made it from the huge number of brilliant entries. As usual, the standard of entries has blown us away.
 

Sport Winner: James Rushforth

An even bigger congratulations goes to James, who has been chosen as this theme’s winner. What a fantastic image; the judges really love the perspective in this picture, the look of determination on the climber’s face and the perfect exposure, especially given the precarious position that James appears to be in. James has won £100 to spend at Wilkinson Cameras and will go through to the final for a chance to win another £500 in Wilkinson Cameras vouchers. Some of you may remember James, as he was also fortunate enough to win our Landscape competition earlier this year. Clearly James has a passion for adventure!

(In case you were wondering – all our images are blind judged, which means we soley judge on the photograph submitted. Names can only be matched up once the shortlist has been finalised.)
