Travel by Car
From the North
Leave the M6 at junction 26 and follow signs for M58 Liverpool. Follow to end of M58 and then take signs for A59 Liverpool. Continue to follow Liverpool City Centre until picking up signs for the Waterfront. The Liverpool Waterfront Car Park is signposted ‘Waterfront’ on the city wide ‘available spaces’ signage.
From the South
Leave the M6 at junction 21A and take the M62 to Liverpool. At the end of the M62 follow signs for Liverpool City Centre along Edge Lane, picking up and following signs for Waterfront. The Liverpool Waterfront Car Park is signposted ‘Waterfront’ on the city wide ‘available spaces’ signage.

Travel by Train
Travelling to Liverpool by train couldn’t be easier. Liverpool Lime Street station (please see important note below) is around a 20 minute walk or a short taxi ride away. You can also transfer at Lime Street onto the underground Wirral Line trains to James Street station (10 minute walk) or catch the CityLink Route C4 (7am – 8pm) directly to Exhibition Centre Liverpool. If travelling from outside Merseyside, your ticket includes an underground journey across Liverpool to James Street station from Lime Street station.
Regional and local rail connections make Exhibition Centre Liverpool easy to reach from across the North West and nearby regions and trains from London take just over 2 hours, with an hourly Virgin Trains service from London Euston.
Important News: Lime Street Station Closure on weekend of Digital Splash
Please take into consideration that Liverpool Lime Street station will be closed due to extenstive renovations. The majority of services will terminate at Liverpool South Parkway. From here, you can easily transfer to Mersey Rail where you will need to travel to James Street Station. This is only a 10 minute walk from the venue or a couple of minutes in a taxi. Some routes have replacement bus servcies, which will terminate at Liverpool Lime Street. From here you can walk, taxi or transfer to James Street for quicker access to Exhibition Centre Liverpool.

Travel by Bus or Coach
Exhibition Centre Liverpool is just a short walk away from the Liverpool ONE bus station, which has long distance coach services and local services which connect to a shuttle bus service.
Most Liverpool city centre-bound buses will call at either Queen Square bus station (a 15-minute walk) or Liverpool ONE Bus Station, which is only a five minute walk to Exhibition Centre Liverpool.
The CityLink Route C4 bus links Queen Square bus station, James Street rail station and Liverpool ONE Bus Station to ACC Liverpool (just next door to Exhibition Centre Liverpool. CityLink Route C4 operates every 30 minutes on Mondays to Sundays, between 7am – 8pm. Merseytravel prepaid tickets and National Concessionary bus passes are all valid on this service.
Travel by Ferry
Liverpool is easy to get to by ferry from Dublin (P&O), Belfast (Stena Line) and Douglas, Isle of Man. (Steam Packet).
Exhibition Centre Liverpool is about a 20 minute drive from the ferry terminals, depending on traffic.
Travel by Plane
Airlines at Liverpool John Lenon Airport include two of Europe’s largest low cost airlines, easyJet and Ryanair, both of whom have large bases at Liverpool John Lenon Airport. A taxi from the airport to the city centre will take approximately 20 minutes or the express bus service Route 500 will take roughly 25 minutes, dropping you off within a five minute walk of Exhibition Centre Liverpool.
Flights from Dublin, Belfast and Edinburgh and the Isle of Man take around an hour with regular services from a number of low cost airlines.
Travel by Bicycle
A number of cycle routes enable cyclists to get around Liverpool and visit Exhibition Centre Liverpool by bicycle. You can find out more about the routes available from Liverpool City Council’s website. You can take your bike for free on ferries and trains in Merseyside, though remember it’s busy in peak hours. Most stations have free, secure cycle storage too. At Exhibition Centre Liverpool cyclists are provided with secure cycle parking, located in the Liverpool Waterfront Car Park.
Citybike is a 24 hour on-street bike hire service, providing bicycles for hire for residents and visitors from an increasing number of automated stations across Liverpool city centre and the surrounding area.

Travel by Taxi
There are Hackney Carriage (black cab) ranks at Lime Street Station (just near the main exit) as well as in other prominent locations across the city. Uber is also operating in Liverpool city centre.
If you want to jump in a cab from the Exhibition Centre Liverpool, there is a rank at Albert Docks, just a short walk away. Alternatively, you can ask reception at Exhibition Centre Liverpool for a local number or to call a taxi for you.
